Let’s be emotionally intelligent to keep NPP intact – Hon Kwame Baa Advises


The NPP parliamentary primaries has ended peacefully throughout the country, but as usual as in any contest it wasn’t without accusations and counter accusations of cracks to the rules of the contest.

Speaking to the rising tempers in Akim Oda Constituency in particular and in Ghana as a whole, a former elected assembly member of the Akim Oda Municipal Assembly, who is also a former party deputy secretary of the constituency and currently a communication team member of the party, Honourable Kwame Baa Mensa called on party members to display the uppermost levels of emotional intelligence competencies to keep the New Patriotic Party intact for a resounding victory come December, 2020.


He was of the opinion that understanding and unity among members is needful to retain NPP in power to continue the good works. Kwame Baa made this clarion call when he spoke to Kwaku Gyimah Asare of ‘Akyemansa FM 96.1, in Akim oda on the 22nd of June, 2020.


It will be recalled that Akim Oda Constituency experienced a hot contest between Mr Alexander Akwasi Acquah, now the NPP parliamentary candidate elect and Honourable William Agyapong Quiattoo the current Member of Parliament.

Speaking to the Add News Gh, Mr Alexander Akwasi Acquah the PC elect, reiterated the need for oneness and focus among members and hinted that plans are well advanced to ensure that this is achieved for the betterment of the people of Akim Oda Constituency and to retain the seat for the NPP. ‘I understand the dynamics of post elections and I will ensure that oneness will be achieved’ he concluded.
