Ebensu Foundation has donated face masks to the elderly people of Abeadze Dominase in the Central Region of Ghana. The donation ceremony took place in the Palace of Daasebre Kwebu Ewusi VII, the Paramount Chief of Abeadze Traditional Area and the Vice President of the National House of Chiefs.
In his open address, the Chief Executive Officer of Ebensu Foundation Mr. Ebenezer Mensah underscored the need to ensure that the elderly people are protected especially during this coronavirus pandemic.
He was therefore very elated that his foundation is contributing its widow’s mite towards protecting the elderly in the Traditional Area.
In his closing remarks, the life patron of Ebensu Foundation, Daasebre Kwebu Ewusi VII, the Paramount Chief of Abeadze Traditional Area and the Vice President of the National House of Chiefs extolled Ebensu Foundation and urged other charitable organisations to emulate them.
Daasebre seized the occasion to educate the elderly on the World Health Organisation’s guidance and advice on the use of masks to protect against and limit the spread of Covid-19 and caution his people to adhere to the safety protocols that have been outlined by World Health Organisation and the Ghanaian authority.
Ebensu Foundation is a charitable organisation based in Cape Coast in the Central Region of Ghana. It was founded on the 1st of January, 2018 with the core aim of helping the underprivileged in the society. Its focus areas are general charity work, underprivileged child education support, health screening, skills training and business support.
