In the early hours of the 17th of July 2020, EBENSU Foundation made a donation of nose marks to the students of ‘Philip Quaqu Girls’ basic school in Cape Coast to help fight the spread of Covid- 19.
This comes in the wake of fear and panic that have gripped Ghanaian parents as some final year students who went back to school in the early days of July in a final preparation towards their examinations, reportedly tested positive of the Covid.
Speaking to the Add News Gh shortly, after the donation the CEO of EBENSU Foundation Mr. Ebenezer Mensah said the foundation couldn’t relax as parents remain in constant fear and quickly reached out to his partners and supporters and got these nose marks for all the final year students currently at the school.
In an exclusive interview with the Life Patron of EBENSU, Daasebre Kwebu Ewusi VII, the Paramount Chief of Abeadze Traditional Area and the Vice President of the National House of chiefs via phone, Daasebre reiterated the Foundation’s commitment to the welfare of the people of the Central Region in particular and Ghana as a whole and assured that the Foundation will continue in these works for the wellbeing of Ghanaians, especially the needy.
The headmistress and the senior prefect of the school both took turns to thank EBENSU Foundation for the kind gesture.
The CEO of EBENSU Foundation used the occasion to thank his generous sponsors who helped and asked the general public and other well to do individuals to help in this noble course.
