Pastor Richard C.Whitcomb has once again demonstrated his full and perfect understanding of Spirituality and Science. Despite his desire to impart God’s people with the unadulterated word of God with members physically present he still appreciated the fact that more time is needed to really ensure that members will be completely safe when they resume meetings.

Consequently, his Pastoral and Deacons Board have agreed that Agape New Testament Church remains closed despite Government easing of restrictions on gathering. This singular and independent action demonstrates the fact that there are still churches that love and truly care about the welfare of their members.

This decision has further emphasised the importance of empathy and compassion in any good decision.

It is also worthy to note that Agape House New Testament Church has one of the best online Church Services in Africa long before the advent of Covid- 19, an indication of transformational leadership.

PRESS RELEASE ON REOPENING OF AGAPE HOUSE NEW TESTAMENT CHURCH FOR PUBLIC WORSHIP SERVICE.

After prayer and deliberation, the leadership of the church has taken the following
decisions regarding the reopening plan for Agape House New Testament Church:

1. Agape House New Testament Church will NOT REOPEN for public worship
gatherings THIS WEEKEND at AgapeLand. We want to take time to adequately
prepare so that we can ensure the safety of all our staff and congregants before
we reopen. We will announce the exact details regarding our reopening for
worship services soon.

2. Although we will not meet for worship service at AgapeLand this weekend, we
are urging our congregation and the general public to take advantage of the
alternative ministry programs the church has rolled out during the ban on public
gatherings.

3. For the month of June, all our mid-week activities such as Intercessory Prayer
on Tuesday, LifeNight on Wednesday, and Divine Encounter on Friday, will be
held ONLINE ONLY.

4. We will maintain our online worship services on Saturdays at 6pm and
Sundays at 7:30am, 9:30am, and 11:30am. You can view our online services
on the Agape House New Testament Church channel on YouTube and
Facebook.com.

5. Members of the congregation and the general public in need of in-person
ministry are encouraged to take advantage of the DRIVE-THRU MINISTRY
program at AgapeLand, East Legon this and every Friday through Sunday.

As always, we ask for your support and prayers for us to do God’s will concerning
His assembly here at Agape House New Testament Church, and for the church
universal.

Yours for the cause of Christ,
The Pastoral and Deacons Board
Agape House New Testament Church
